LT Diana

CASE SUMMARY

Lieutenant Diana is a police dispatcher at the University of Notre Dame Police Department. She was originally called with the Keith board, who demanded that she hand over the department’s phone records. A subsequent Ed Powell call ‘explained’ the situation; Diana also passed the call to another officer, thus making her very useful in-between ‘transfers’ to different cop boards.

ORIGINS AND HISTORY

The University of Notre Dame Police Department was first called in June 2023 during a Kimble livestream. Initially, the Keith soundboard was used and, as usual, demanded phone records. In an apt demonstration of the ‘problem-reaction-solution’ false flag framework, Ed Powell came in to save the day, and Diana answered. She informed him that a seemingly intoxicated male had called and attempted to “subpoena [their] phone records”. She also informed Ed that the station did not user caller ID.

Diane eventually handed the call over to a colleague, LT Ryan, who was noticeably more contentious and heavily disputed Ed’s claims. In fact, Ryan made use of the police’s “national teletype” to contact the Cleveland 3rd District, who informed him that the call was phoney.

LT Ryan further attempted to intimidate Ed by using said teletype to put out a notice that the NDPD’s number had been spoofed, and suggested that Officer Powell “stop playing games on the phone”.

Soundboard and Prank Calls

Shortly after the original call, Ye24 created the first LT Diana soundboard. Diana, although not the largest of the cop soundboards, nevertheless has a great number of useful lines. Victims may also be initially more inclined to talk to Diana, a female, than being bombarded with Ed, Patterson and McLain from the off.

Her sound bites regarding Keith (“…subpoena our phone records…”) can prove handy both on offensive and defensive operations. They also provide a reliable way to ‘develop’ calls further (i.e Keith calls first -> Diana calls back).

Similarly to Sgt Lane and Max, Diana said the line “I’m gonna put you on hold”. Ye24 included Fred’s “Business” hold music track, and edited her lines to say “Ed Powell’s coming in the door” – these make Diana a very useful intermediary when switching between different soundboards.

LT Diana re-called Notre Dame shortly after the original call to her, calling some hotels and bars on-campus, assisted by Ed Powell. One of these businesses transferred the call to the NDPD, and Diana answered, again speaking to Ed. Diana appeared to instantly recognise Ed’s signature stuttering, and remained silent for a few seconds before ending the call.

Personal Life

Little is known about Diana other than her occupation and her image. She is the lead dispatcher at UDPD. She has not been heard in subsequent calls (although these usually end prematurely).
